Cooking with Pirate’s Brew Coffee

I think I have told you this before but here goes….I LOVE COFFEE! So why not add some coffee into my dinner!  YUM!

Cooking with coffee will not only help to tenderize the meat but will add a robust earthy flavor that everyone will love. No, unfortunately, it will not make your food taste like coffee. Hard to believe but true. So, if you have someone over to dinner who doesn’t like coffee (I know! Hard to believe these people exist but I have met a few) just don’t tell them 😊 They don’t have to know.

I have included 2 different recipes for Pirate’s Brew Coffee rub for you to try. They are both versatile and can be used in most recipes. You can make a double or triple batch of each ahead of time and store in a small jar. Then when you need to use one, just grab it out of the cabinet.  I would love to hear some of the ways you use them. Please send me your recipes 😊 Maybe I’ll share

Please take my advice and use a great coffee for these recipes. If you use an old bitter coffee because you don’t want to drink it then you won’t like it in your recipe either. Do not skimp on the 2 to 3 tablespoons you will need for these recipes. Use a coffee you love; you will not regret it. The difference is amazing.

I have included a complete Pork Tenderloin recipe here using one of the rubs to get you started.

So, jump in, give it a try and caffeinate your meat 😊
