Our Story

Our passion for coffee began long before we ever met. There’s just something magical about that first deep breath of freshly brewed coffee—that rich, comforting aroma of liquid gold in a cup.

What started as a shared love for a truly great cup of coffee, combined with Dieter’s talent for fixing, analytics, and precision roasting, quickly turned into a dream we couldn’t ignore.

For years, starting our own roastery felt like a “someday” goal—until the perfect opportunity arrived: the chance to take over the Pirate’s Brew Coffee product line.

We’re proud and excited to carry on the legacy of Pirate’s Brew Coffee. Now, you’ll find us—Dieter & Heidi—freshly roasting each batch in the small town of Big Flats, New York.

The pirate theme couldn’t be more fitting for us. Both of us grew up with a deep love for the ocean and spent countless vacations at the beach with our families. It’s in our roots.

Pirate’s Brew Coffee was originally founded on the North Carolina coast, a place rich with pirate history. The original owners built this brand on a passion for great coffee and the experience it creates—something we’re honored to continue.
